Let AI code, not call

A different take on MCP: don't use your model as a for-loop.

More and more AI integrations let the model write one small program instead of running every step through the model separately. Faster, cheaper and easier to contain.

Calling: every step back through the model

Ten phone calls, rereading the whole file after each one.

This is how most integrations work today. The model requests something, gets the answer, rereads everything and asks for the next thing. In one measured example, posting a single video on Instagram took twelve rounds and about 190,000 tokens: time and money for work the model does not need to do.

Coding: one program, one answer

The model writes one script that runs all the steps in a safe sandbox and returns only the result. The same job then takes one round and about 17,000 tokens. At Anthropic a comparable job went from 150,000 to 2,000 tokens. MCP simply stays the plug.
